Our fleet of kayaks are made to stay up right and they have some of the widest hulls in the kayak industry. Our tandem angler kayaks can hold 2 adults and a small child or up to 550lbs. We have developed many adventures for each of the different experiences, as to offer as much fun possible and to work around weather patterns.  We will work hand in hand with our customers to keep them informed on the status of their trips and keep them up to date on any changes that may be necessary to insure a high quality and enjoyable trip.

Don't forget. We will supply you with all the kayak and fishing gear you will possibly need and we will inform you of the basic necessities that you will want to bring for a comfortable adventure.

Are you ready for a "Nantucket Sleigh Ride?

A Nantucket sleigh ride was a term used by Nantucket whalers to describe what occurs immediately following the harpooning of a whale. The whale, realizing it had been harpooned, would attempt to flee and thus drag the whale boat along with it. The speed of the "sleigh ride" would vary depending on the size of the whale, with larger whales giving faster rides. The resulting thrill ride for the sailors would last as long as the whale could swim before it became exhausted.

This is by far one of the most insane, extreme adventures on the entire eastern seaboard and we have already accommodated men and women on this one, along with newbie and pro kayak fishermen alike.

Jump onboard a Hatteras offshore boat and head 25 miles out into the Gulf Stream for a day that will be unparallel in adventure. We will troll baits from the kayak for the thrill of having a dolphin   (Mahi-Mahi) crash your bait only 15ft behind you and then exploding over head right in front of you, as you fight this magnificent fish. We will also cruise a tower and/or a few wrecks for grouper, snapper and amberjack, while using deep dropping methods and butterfly jigs.

Amberjacks have been nicked named "Reef Donkeys" by local fishermen, because of their explosive and powerful fight. These fish will definitely take you for a Nantucket Sleigh Ride.

You must be 16 years of age and accompanied by a parent on the mother ship to enter into the water. However, children of any age may ride along and/ or fish from the boat.

Only 3 kayaks are allowed in the water at any time, but this trip can accommodate up to 5 people. You will be encouraged to fish from the boat, lounge  and just have a good time while waiting your turn or if you don't want to get into the water.

An experienced guide will be in the water at all times, when the 3 kayak anglers are fishing.

This is an eight hour trip and includes all boat fees, guide fees, tips and all the necessary gear.

All day trip, up to 5 anglers = $1850.00

All day trip, up to 2 anglers = $1200.00

"During the summer of 2009 I experienced my first kayak experience on the Albemarle Sound with two other novice adults and Rob Alderman as a guide. We fished for trout and blues successfully. We were thoroughly instructed and coached. This was later followed by an ocean kayak fishing trip with myself and four other adults that was as successful and rewarding. A family sound kayak trip was guided by Rob later in the summer including a six and eight year old, their parents, and two elderly grandfathers. This trip included
clamming on a sandbar and a picnic on the beach afterwards. As a result I now have my own kayak and am an avid kayak fisherman."
